BWC has completed the design of computer facilities such as the Dispatch Center for Illinois Power Company.

Due to the critical nature of the dispatch center’s operation, power reliability posed special design challenges. The facility is powered by two separate utility services: a 500 KW standby generator, and a 150 KVA UPS for critical loads. The system proved successful when violent tornadoes ripped through Central Illinois only months after the center was completed.
