Dramatic renovations were required for the conversion due to an extensive fire over a decade before.

Amenities include a two-story atrium and dining room with curtain wall overlooking an adjacent wooded area, intimate common areas with fireplaces, spacious TV room, cozy library, full commercial kitchen, laundry, and beauty salon.  A wing was added, complete with an elevator, to accommodate handicapped residents.
