BWC has
completed projects like this one for a 15,000-ton potash
storage warehouse and bulk handling system.
BWC designed all pits, foundations, supports,
conveyor installation, hoods, chutes and diverter valves, as
well as designing the site for railroad car
loading/unloading, roadway entrance and exit. |

BWC
has designed other storage facilities such
as a 115’ diameter by 43’ high, insulated
monolithic concrete dome (5,000 ton capacity)
for the storage and shipping of ammonium
nitrate.
Design for this project included 24”
belt conveyors with weigh belt, vibrating
screen, enmasse conveyor, bucket elevator and
spouting with 110 tons per hour loadout
capacity; 16,400 cfm ammonia coil air handling
unit for temperature and humidity control of
conveyor galley and storage dome; electrical
power and control distribution including 500 KVA
transformer, motor control centers, lighting,
conduit and wiring, and control panel.
