BWC has extensive experience in electrical engineering for power distribution and interior and exterior lighting.  Recent representative projects include:

Several years ago, Millikin University embarked on an extensive growth and improvement program for the campus and surrounding area.  Joined by the Oakwood Business Association representing property owners in the area, a decision was made to upgrade lighting with period design ornamental lighting.

BWC’s role included electrical design for the replacement of wooden light and utility poles with historic street lamps for a major lighting renovation of the area, as well as services during bidding and observation of construction.

A similar project was completed for the City of  Edwardsville, Illinois in an effort toward improving the infrastructure and the appearance of its downtown area, committed $900,000 to this major reconstruction project to continue the trend toward downtown redevelopment.  Phase I of the Downtown Streetscape Project began with the burial of utility lines, replacement of sidewalks and trees, and establishing areas with furniture for seating along Main Street.

BWC completed electrical design for the replacement of wooden light and utility poles with historic street lamps for a major lighting renovation and enhancement of the historical nature of the downtown scene.

Electrical design experience also includes interior lighting, electrical distribution for commercial and industrial projects, and building controls for HVAC, sprinkler and alarm systems.
