| BWC provided mechanical,
electrical, and plumbing engineering for the
conversion of the former Sears Department Store into
the new Decatur Public Library, as well as tenant
lease spaces. |

Fire protection design included relocation of
sprinkler heads and repiping of sprinkler risers to
serve both the library and eventual tenants.
Plumbing
design included relocation of existing toilet
facilities and construction of new facilities.

HVAC design included replacement of chiller and
cooling tower. Existing
boilers are being reused.
Conversion to VAV zoned control with hot water
reheat and installation of a building humidification
system are also included.
Electrical
design included changes to the distribution system
within the building, replacement of existing light
fixtures and addition of fixtures, and extensive
communication cabling.
