Winner
of the 1996 “Pride of the Prairie Award” and the 1997
Decatur Chamber of Commerce “Best Non-Residential New
Construction Award” for its design contribution to the
community.

This design displayed a residential-scale building
with a mix of Indiana limestone and brick to complement
surrounding residences.
|
|
|
Designed
to also utilize mirrored glazing, a
stepped hip roof, and geometric shapes to allow the building to
maintain a contemporary appearance.

The facility includes examining rooms, optical laser
surgery room, photo laboratory, optical fitting room,
and ample waiting room space, as well as
administrative and accounting offices plus an employee
lounge. |
